Fred Ward Joins Kevin Bacon in Tremors TV Series?

Spread the love

Lots of love is coming from the internet these days for Tremors.  With good reason too.  There is a new film on the way titled Tremors: Cold Day in Hell, and also a TV series aptly titled Tremors: The TV Series.  However, the series has not only brought back one of the original stars from the first movie Mr. Kevin Bacon.  It has now been announced that Fred Ward is joining the cast too!

Keep in mind it’s just a rumor….but it’s a rumor via TremorsGuide that Ward will hop in on the Graboid killing fun along with Bacon.

Ward and Bacon!   Bacon and Ward!  If you are a Tremors fan and this DOESN’T make your day then you should just go right back to bed!

Even if the rumor is based on a tweet by the director, Richard Clark, (Outlander, Doctor Who) who posted just the other day saying, “Universal shooting 8-part TV Tremors this summer with Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward! I’m begging to direct! Scripts a lot of fun.”

This is NOT a confirmation that the new series will feature the return of Fred Ward, but our money is on Ward being in the show!  You’d think that the director would have to know something about his cast right?

I’ll let you know as soon as I get any more hard evidence that Ward is in the series.  Until then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

Tremors: The TV Series is headed our way courtesy of Jason Blum’s Blumhouse TV and Universal Cable Prods. Andrew Miller is the writer and stars Kevin Bacon…and maybe Fred Ward!

The killer Graboid worms that nearly destroyed Perfection, NV, 25 years ago are back; and the town’s only hope for survival is Valentine McKee (Bacon), who beat them once. But to do it again he’ll have to overcome age, alcohol, and a delusional hero complex.

For nostalgia here’s the original movie trailer. Enjoy!
